Our JC lives started out in the most crazy and fun of ways; we played and mugged hard, and everyone was bonded tgt (strongly, like ionic or covalent bonds! ) by love and friendship (:

It's incredible how our entire class is so fun and tgt; everyone loves and appreciates one another (: 2 years later, we're still crazily running ard in the field taking montage photos tgt, all 26 of us (:

I'm sorry Regina! ): I've been neglecting LDMR cus of exercise. She told me it's really my life, and that she can't force me into anything, which is 100% true. But I'm not someone who goes into something and then abandons it halfway through, cus when I embarked on LDMR, I made a promise to you, and to myself. And what's more, LDMR sessions are tonnes of fun and are of whole lot of use, as opposed to konking off till7pm if we had opted to go home right after sch. So I'm gonna stagger my time, keep fit, and keep up LDMR (:

I really have to start studying hard soon. It's scary when everyone ard you has alr started mugging in one way or another! Earlier in the yr i told myself, BLOCKS only, its okay! im sure i'll gear up for prelims, then what am i doing now?! I really have to mug mug mug, like i did for the Olvls! ): I really wanna do well and get a scholarship and go overseas and study law! I really want to be a lawyer and help make the world a better placeeeee! ):

Sidetrack, harry potter was gr8 :D i loved the humour, the cuteness of it all, and of course, the sheer emotions intertwined between the characters (: it doesn't matter if the plot isn't very good or "is nothing compared to the book". Cmon lah, what do you expect?! Summing up this 1kg novel into a film of 2.5 hours is inhumane, adapting such a novel would alr be a mean, mean feat.
So just appreciate it lah! :D I can't wait for the 7th film (:

It's so heartwarming and lovely to have someone always by you (: Val and I don't spend a lot of time together being in different classes and all, but true friendship is really not about how much time friends spend tgt, it's about how much one treasures her friend and keeps her close to her heart! :D

I'm heading down to Suntec Singapore (Level 3 Concourse) with 6V later to attend the NETWORKING TEA SESSION (for the scholarship and universities fair) ZOMG MOMG :D

hee hee this week has been filled with ups and downs, bumps and slides, but i enjoyed a large part of it, cus i got to spend alot of quality time with great people, and my lovely farmilie. (:

Got back abit of results (okay maybe most of it) and they aren't up to expectations at all ): I have to work very very hard from now on ((: Regina and I have this study group, ingeniously named LDMR (Library Dwelling, MONSTROUS results HAHAHAHA), and what we do is to mug every day after sch in the library till they shoo us out. (: Good eh! :D LDMR sessions have largely been successful, except the very last session when Lisyn and Meiting joined us! HAHA :D when those girls are around we'll end up talking and laughing and not doing any work hahaha! (:

mmmm i also went for the GIC Finance Day interview on Friday (: I think it went quite well and ahhhhhhhhhhhhh *prays for the best*

Went for seafood feast with farmilie ytd night at JUMBO (: walao the prawns are damn nice, kudos to my lovely sis, clay, who helps de-shell the prawns for me (hahahaha i don't know how to and am lazy to, peel prawns). I think I gorged like some swine, and ate ard 10-15 prawns, with many many other dishes. Sinful ayeee. Nvm! tmr got running with TONGZI, MOK, CORINA, BEE BEE and some other people I think! (:

just read pl's blog about me criticising him about competition haha (: I'm not saying it's baddddd or anything lah, i mean, competition is what makes the world go round, it's what powers the invisible hand and ensure capitalism's success, it's what drives the economy. It's just that, AREN'T YOU GUYS SICK OF COMPETING?! I for one, am, and sometimes, I just need to escape from it for awhile. I know it's technically impossible, but srsly, cut yourself some slack lah. Life is srsly not just about competing, spend some enerzee you expand on competition loving, or smiling, or feeling good about life ((((: how much competition you engage in, solely depends on urself (: hahahahah comparing and betting on marks is fun and all, but sometimes, just RELAX LAH. as long as you've tried ur best and can do better the next time round, isn't that all that matters?!

I don't think exams are there for the purpose of letting everyone realise who does better than who for what; they're just there to make you study, to spur you on to do well for the As. More imptly, they are there to test your competency in the subj, and i believe as long as you try your best, it's okay.

I don't think I did very well for BT2, in fact I think I will fail chem, or barely manage a pass. I haven't worked hard enough, and trust me, thiamjiamin will gear up and do her best for prelims and As.

That aside, FAC COM OUTING WAS DAMN FUN TODAY HAHAHAHAHAHA :D I'm super tired to recount, but rly, it was real fun :D thankyou snr and jnr faccom for the awesome day (((((: and thankyou amanda for the lovely box with the pooh cushion, mug, smarties, post-it pads, highlighters and what not (: THEY ARE LOVELY, AND I WILL USE THEM RIGHT AWAY :D

Until 2007, forced intercourse between spouses was deemed legal by Singaporean law. And the latest amendments made to this piece of legislation offer little further protection for women. Within Singapore’s current legal framework, marital rape can only be deemed illegal if the wife has obtained a decree of legal separation or some form of injunction restraining the husband from engaging in sexual intercourse with her. This means that the vast majority of women who have not taken the legal protections necessary, or are simply abused into submission, are then left utterly vulnerable to the evils of marital rape.

These laws are mutating the virtues of marriage, distorting the sanctity of true love and commitment between man and woman into a smokescreen for violence and cruelty. They are an excuse for men to treat women as their sexual property, forcing women into what is often a prolonged relationship of sexual brutality and psychological trauma. This is not justice – it is immunity for the devil.

Met Markcheng at Orchard MRT at 8.30am this morning, and made our way to ORCHARD HOTEL (: HAHA luckily got markcheng, his orienteering skills/topographical map-reading skills are to die for.

Met Lisyn and Zhenyang, the couple-lookalike, and we went in hahaha :D It was pretty fun; tonnes of booths and goodies (none of which escaped the wrath of tls, the goody-collector) :D The people who managed the booths were rly friendly and informative too, it was fun and useful mm (:

I've had this ambition since dunno when, haha I think it all started sometime in Primary School when I watched this drama involving characters working at a law firm. Then sometime in Sec 1-2, I got hooked onto Boston Legal (: I know dreams do come true, and if i work hard, I'll be able to achieve it! :D ahhh wish me luck! :D now must gao2 hao3 my chem first.

okayyyyyy so yepp back to the PSC fair :D I met so many rvians and familiar faces (from rv) haha :D mok they all are always saying i know alot of people lol, that's technically true lah, but it's true for all other rvians too (: I really miss the good old days in RV, it was just so warm and comforting. Going to sch each day meant spending time with people you really regarded as family. You could never walk around the school premises and not NOT bump into someone you know (: Hahaha everyone would be smiling/hugging/waving (BODY WAVING HAHAHA, internal joke) to people as everyone walked past one another.

It's not that HCI isn't good, or any less comforting. I'm blessed with great friends, a beautiful class filled with beautiful people, an awesome faculty and a lovely fac comm, and random friends I see around school! :D it's rly nice to walk ard and see someone you know, and just smile or give them or hug, or say hello! (:

The feeling though, isn't the same feeling you get back in RV. Hahahaha maybe cus of the 4 yrs in RV vs 1 plus yr in HCI factor.

Ahhhh but i really miss the times. Thank God for rv (: dear juniors, hahahaha treasure ur time in the IP programme! (:

okayy so anyway! :D we headed to far east for lunch :D we ate at one of those xiao chi at the basement :D we had curry and grandma's specialty (haha thats the name of the dish) and very sweet (but expensive) nai cha. :D hahahaha.

then we randomly crapped, stoned (INERTIA AGAIN) and then mark leon and i went home first. Yanqi, meiting, mok, tim and lisyn went on to shop, and if im not wrong, jinlong joined them too :D

came home and slept till ard 6, then got called outside the house for a FRUIT PARTY :D hahahahaha my neighbours are damn cute, organise fruit party :D thank God for lovely neighbours (: so everyone gathered outside my house (my house, and 3 units to the left and right) for fruits :D got durian mangosteen watermelon everything lah :D hahaha then i went cycling with sis on the coolio tandem bike :D HAHA CYCLED TO YUFONG'S HOUSE AND SHOUTED HIS NAME, but the house seemed quiet haha so i didn't stay for long.
